Nice! Hope Jason comes away with it, didn't see a lot of hits on the stream but didn't seem as tame as some other heat 3s I've seen.

Jason Long was part of the Giants last year so might have been granted a bit of immunity?

Most top guys start grids 1 to 9 barring 126c rees. Say he be on the breaks as his old man is at the back of that line. And he will be after 31p after what 19c has said about him. He be his number one. After that. I dont know what and who. It on. Whats the beef with 31P about?

Yaaaaaay Hawkes Bay, unofficially, rules! Hold your tickets. Any other car needed to be 2 places ahead of 10g 41b was on 45 and 10g was on 47 points 52p was on 41 points, so needed 6 places better. 72p was on 39 so would need 8 places better. I doubt any Rees would take out 41b unless really needed, like in teams.

If it wasn't for 126c, 127g and 991c there would have been no contact in heat 3. No one even tried to get Long or Peter Rees.
What is with Superstocks these days, leading on points going into a final heat and you get left alone.

Anyone got provisional placings on the last race? Was it Simon, Pete then Long? Or Long, Pete then Simon?
Just worked it out, they are the standings, not the race finish, doh.

Congrats to Jason long. Good guy and top driver. Was hoping after all the time, effort and money Andy McCabe has spent on stockcars racing he would get a top 3. I thought Ethan Levien would’ve tried helping his brother out abit more. Pulled over at the start then did nothing. (From what we saw on the stream) Simon joblin would have to be up there as one of the most successful drivers ever when you think of all the podiums he’s had over his career.

Just like the North Islands. Can I have the good old days back please? At least the Made in Metal NZ Super Saloon Champs at Huntly next weekend will deliver.

I couldn't really think of a more deserving driver other than Jason Long. The past few seasons he's proved himself to be a top driver and getting 1nz has cemented this status. Former 2nz Winner of North Island Superstock Champs Winner of New Zealand Superstock Grand Prix Top teams driver
Also great to see 10g Peter Rees on the podium in his new car, its good to see him back up there
72p Simon Joblin has once again gotten a podium, 2x 1nz now 3nz. Legendary
It was great having William Humphries as 1nz and he definitely set the bar high showing pride everywhere he went, it'll be weird to see Adam Joblin and Jordan Dare running normal numbers since it's been about 2 years since they last did

Then he vowed in a smack toque interview that certain driver from the bay will never win a new zealand title while he's around. Commentators even briefly touched on it. Since 19c wasnt out there next best thing happened. Palmy didn't didn't have the numbers to stop anybody. 7 and four were running. Alot of tracks were represented in the finals. 46w did need to be the one to attack. But it's about what you expect. 52p got taken by 87b 2nz by 85k. 32p by Asher. So a fair bit of contact. And that's only from listening to the commentators.

Go the Bay. The Rees all attacked the wrong car. No. They won’t attack one of their own.

Get use to it , its modern day contact racing and possibly you only see good crowds at the big meetings. Theres not really a lot to go and see these days . NZ Champs , World 240,s and Palmy teams are the only meetings i attend these days . was a time once when i travelled all over NZ every weekend to follow speedway .
