Can someone transpose the repercharge details onto here please or maybe someone can update the WG website? Gee I thought the website would be priority.

Hopefully someone has a connection to someone at the Speedway? Sitting in the grandstand and can't here nuts when the commentary team is talking. Music level is good just can only hear whispering when the commentators come on.. it's hot! Agree - for whatever reason the commentary volume has always been crap at the grandstand.

I donβt think itβs a matter of them βlettingβ Asher smash them, they are at opposite ends of the scale. 1000x better experience, machinery and skill. You could compare it with my 5 year old son versing mike Tyson in a boxing match. Your right the difference between machinery is massive. Peter field was in block mode heat 3 tryna help the C boys. I thought the reading of points was poor are we ever going to get someone like Paul hickey from another track. They start reading them when the oranges come on and cars are still loud. Wait until the track empties a bit. It frustrates me. However in saying that the website did do a good job with uodates Plus the added thorn in ur side of Ngatai & Ward being Asher's wingmen ur in 4 an expensive battle.

After taking out the 24 confirmed qualifiers from last night there are only 52 other cars that scored points in the qualifying heats. Assuming only 26 cars are allowed to grid up in each race those on zero will not be eligible to start in either repechage. What might be interesting is if any of the top scoring 52 cars that failed to qualify but are unable to compete tonight there could be a six car run off to fill any available spots for those on zero to fight over. Not being able to find the terms and conditions of entry I am not sure if those that did qualify for the repechage but unable to start whether their spot remains vacant or is filled up via the runoff situation as the next highest scorers are all on the same points, albeit nil. The likes of Rebecca Barr and Shane Mellsop might have to settle for picking up any prize money via the consolations, something almost unthinkable just 24 hours ago.

Its a known problem, but thanks for the feedback. it comes down to not enough speakers and not enough grunt in the amp. I've spent hours tweaking the sound to get the current amp/speaker combo to go as loud as it can without distorting, and for most of the track it works well, but there are wider distances between speakers on the back straight and that area is not as loud as it should be. Also the grandstand soaks up some of the sound energy. There is always the 88.1FM for audio if you have a radio.

What is all this about Peter Feild running around blocking ?
Dont have anything against the guy and good on him for being out there, but he wasn't trying to take anyone out. He looked like it was full speed at about 40kph and trying to get out of everyone's way.
Should be interesting with Ngatai and P.Ross in the same repercharge and also Ward, Boote and T.Ross
....Bring on SMASH THE C πππ

Are those groups definitely set.The reason I ask is in the second repo group theres 5 guys who all scored more points than the highest scorer from the first repo group so I'm not sure if the 2 repo groups are confirmed yet.Its pretty rough having Hemi,Harwood,Ngatai and Vickery all in the one group.

Interested to know do they always do repercharge grids on groups ?
Seems strange that Groome has 43 points from last night and is off grid 8 in his race and Ward has 39 points from last night but is higher up the grid in his race off grid 4

You'd think they pick the Repecharge grids judging by who has the most amount of points, well they do it that way but in the groups they're in and it seems the groups might do something like a coin toss to pick who gets the odd or even grids. That's why some people have higher points but at a lower grid

It is totally unacceptable that in 2019 we are yet again having a discussion about substandard commentary, points updates and a sound system that is clearly from the dark ages and completely substandard. It's really simple - if you're going to host a NZ title (or any meeting for that matter) and you're happy to take people's hard earned money off them, the least you can do is provide the expected services. A PA with enough volume, commentators who understand and deliver what is expected at a championship. Info and updates and so. Eine adjusting the volume all night according to track action/sound level. This is why our sport never goes forward. The paying spectators are vary rarely treated with the disserved respect. Gimmicks like a helicopter drop in in are waste of time. Do the basics right first. Had zero idea last night of what was going on at our biggest championship. Its simply not good enough. This has been going on for 30 years or more! Sad,angry and dumbfounded.
