If putters where given the option to stream teams champs , $50 videohub or $60 thepits, on current performance who would U choose. I watched both Pits tv ,perfect until the on track presentation after the final. Video-hub dropped out a couple of times but I agree with BB, video-hub quality was disapointing as he described previously. Hopefully 2 nite they get it right as video-hub has previously many times. A note , pits Tv needs both sound lead and hdmi lead from the computer to tv and sound system. Video-hub both are in the hdmi lead. Sound comes from Tv to sound system. That how it works here. Lets just enjoy the event. |

Is it the PN venue that is the problem as Video Hub livestreams well at other venues or staff changes. ? Maybe they need to upgrade to the same Spark system Pits Tv use . I watched both livestreams last night with chrome as recommended via big TV's and only Video hub had problems as explained well in the quoted post. I don’t use a “Spark System” however, Spark are blown away by our system hence they are advertisers with us. I’m sure Videohub will have it all sorted for tonight ... Dont want to argue with you Jase...but you say your sure they will have it sorted for tonight...your being too nice...tonight costs the same as last night...they should have had their shytte together for night one as well..or at least charge 25 bucks for night one knowing they will have problems then charge the $50 only on night two. The supporters will hold them up to as high a standard as we expect from you. After last weekend this felt like a step backwards. |

Lets just enjoy the event. I must admit I haven't tried cables yet. Both stream providers don't support Smart TV's at the moment, but The Ptis are at least working on it and have got some going. Not the Samsung however. But I'm sure that'll happen before season's end. Their stream did work on the Smart TV last season, but as they've upgraded their gear I guess something changed. I'm sure not technically inclined enough to know what. I don't know whether Viedo Hub are working on it too. They just say Smart TVs are not supported. I just want to see them lose the continual buffering and refreshing and sort the sound out first, then work on the camerawork and directing/vision switching. Get something that we can watch continuously and without frustration first, then make it a better watch. Barry B |
