She's teams racing and she wants to be treated the same as everyone else on the track so let's do the same when it comes to awards

When people use the expression 'one hand on the trophy' usually means she's just about locked up the award. Yes she went really well for her first teams champs and I'm happy she's been given a crack.

Great drive, sure the hits were good and 100% commutes but it was savvy on the track in different situations that really impressed me.
The hit on Lonergan was tactical, calculated and committed.
Sure there will be mistakes in the future like anyone, but I for one think she has a future in teams racing.
Well driven to her, and all brave enough to get out there. Was fast and hard

And what better way to draw in a new generation of fans than to celebrate a first and acknowledge someone who’s probably had more eyes on her and doubters than any other in recent memory? It would certainly be worth a news cycle at least . I don’t think she will get it , simply because the top 4 teams are so close it will take 1 driver doing something special to get the title , but if the mustangs were to surprise and make the 3 v 4 battle then it you’d be silly to dismiss the idea fully . Either way I thought she earned her place and certainly looked a lot more at home than many other drivers who appeared tactically lost

FWIW I was a doubter who is now a believer. I thought she raced smart and well. Not afraid to commit and happy to take whatever came her way. That Mustangs have actually got a bit of potential if they stick together I reckon.

A big chunk of your posts could be removed and there would be no interruption to the flow of a thread. Pretty sad really. She surprised a lot of people with how well she went. Anyone attacking Ron Tye deserves some respect.

Now that she has a bit of teams racing experience, be good if she switched to the track down the road and became a Scrapper, wishful thinking.

Her initial hit on tye was good, but then twice Tye took her to the wall and twice he pulled out, I cant help but think why..... I have never seen him do that to anyone else. having said that she drove well, but so did a lot of others, who aren't female (OMG yes I did just assume her gender), no better than a least half-a-dozen other drivers as everyone seemed to step up a gear on the night, not just her.

I recall her wanting to teams race years ago, but her father declined her request, I guess he mellowed with age.

Yes I thought it appeared a couple off times two divers could off but chose not to ,the first race she had a point to prove and and she stamped her mark ,her dad has been the quite achiever in speedway and can see that's rubbed off ,it brings another dimension for supporters ie the fairer sex and will bring more exposure to the sport world wide with media outlets picking up on the success off this .Take a bow Bruce Robinson

I thought she left herself open for attack a number of times but the opponents left her out there. Came back to bite them too. Whether they went ‘easy’ on her, ir didn’t see her as a threat I’ve got no idea. When she was attacked, eg by Vickery in Scrappers, she spent a bit of time parked up.
Credit where it’s due tho, she definitely didn’t embarrass herself or let her team down.
