I am hoping the C v P race results in 8 DNFs thus the Hawkeyes, by virtue of their win over Gisborne, take out the final by default.

I think HB and palmy should start semis as favourites, however an upset in either semi could easily happen given some luck. Hb looked the goods, reliability issues with 84b could be there downfall tonight unless they are sorted. Gisborne look a tad weaker, if it wasn’t for a stellar Peter Rees drive against welly they might not be in semis. Chch look good, first time in semis for years so will be new for them.
