Just thought I'd share this pic, pretty epic hit. 21st season on the mic Great shot Pete. If you look at the top right of the photo and see the yellow Hi Vis that's me. When Stanaway hit the wall the whole structure that the big screen is on shook back and forth, such was the ferocity of the impact. Hit of the weekend....No argument from me. |

And just after that (with the reds on) Ethan was taken by the wall, that ended his race. Not quite true but a good story anyway  Ethan drove backwards after the hit under refs orders, the car was running then! Did he turn it off or stall, i guess only he knows, either way the problem was not being able to re-start and this is not uncommon with hot engines. |

I remember seeing them both travel on the outside of two other cars(?) before Ethan attached himself to the HB car, so must have been a big swing somewhere? |
