Unbelievable day yesterday , never thought I’d see anything like that If we take that out of the equation, the weather yesterday would have allowed last night to go ahead, I’m sure the track team could have for the track sorted in the afternoon and as I sit here this morning the weather looks ok too and nothing like forecast I understand why they made the decision with half the field having to cross the water but I still don’t like at all that decisions are being made based on weather forecasts that are the best of times very unreliable. I Support the decision. Better to make it early than dither up till the last minute. This early decision reflects why so many keep coming back Club and promotion on point at understanding competitor challenges and tensions. And giving themselves best chance of having big crowd, which is important for long term viability of the event. I do understand both sides of it and where the decision comes from, but there is just as much chance that the meeting won’t go ahead on the weekend it has been moved too, If the forecast is bad a few days out do they make the same call again with no more weekends left in the season ? The weather forecasting in this region is patchy at the best of times, as ruapuna found out a few weeks back and they have now unfortunately lost the night that they postponed it too Just doesn’t seem right to me that there isn’t any racing tonight when I’ve gotten 2 loads of washing dry and about to mow the lawns

As per Ruapuna, emergency services were made unavailable for racing tonight, in this case W/G would also have been affected, a note for Spuddy, the track staff are good but unless your at the track to physically know what conditions are like and what needs to be done, it's a pointless argument, W/G have a benefit of having a weather expert that has been pretty accurate on all accounts, so the decision made was not an uneducated one, I personally am happy with the decision, My folks are not far from the track and the weather was rubbish, having had to organise 2 ministocks at late notice on Thursday, only to have had the meeting postponed was a pain, but I was able to change plans and head back to work on Friday without the cost of travelling. not given to the horrid events on Friday, the battle has been postponed which in itself becomes a nightmare, making sure drivers are still available is an issue, along with what the weather will be again, but it has also affected both Greymouth and Nelsons promotions as well, so I'm sure that it is never an easy decision to make, who would have thought that running the conductive engineering education super stock meeting in 2k's against the battle was a wise decision back in December, but with the depth of super stocks both meetings attracted plenty of talent, best of luck with the drivers that were able to change plans in a short space of time to attend 2k's, have a great event...

Did you bother to consider that the track may not be usable due to the rain during the day on Friday? Whilst you may have mowed your lawns and dried your clothes in one part of the city it does often rain in kaiapoi when its dry in Christchurch and vice versa. Great decision by the team at Woodford Glen.

End of conversation. Thanks for you time🦅

I'm pretty sure 10c replaced 24c and I dont recall seeing 10c out there at all during the season.Correct me if I'm wrong but I think to be picked as part of BOS you need to of done so many meetings during the season so i dont know why 35c wasn't picked as the replacement for 24c.

That list only had the North Island cars in it. I had been watching that list for a few days waiting for the full list, then 9c appears, will be interesting to see if it stays there.

I can't copy and paste or post an image to the site, so I'll have to type it out, this is off Woodford Glen Facebook page Woodford Glen drivers aren't invited into the battle of the stocks, they have to qualify to make entry list and with just 11 spots up for grabs some miss out. Driver's qualify on how many meetings they race at so the 11 drivers who race the most meetings gets the spots

What I dont get is how 10c is there yet 35c is not unless he is done for the season Is it because 35c only did 3 meetings this season? I suspect that might be it.

Pretty sure he has lost the ride or has just finished for the season. One thing that is certain is the entry list for this meeting is awesome with at least 4 past nz champions. Will be an epic battle as always
