Quite an experience
Really puts lyall “dog” Rummneys 4 th and lace at this event in perspective
As in - wow - that guy must be a flaming legend.
It’s hard, fast, and ultra competitive in machinery that is substantially different to ours in a massive number of ways
That all dictate how you drive, survive, then hopefully thrive.
Spoke to a number of Dutch fans - 70 odd of their drivers came accross for the Friday meeting - this Saturday meeting, and the north Hampton meeting tomorrow.
One of their comments stuck in my mind - the fact there are now more Dutch F1 drivers than English drivers.
And the other question was - why don’t the Kiwis come to a A couple of Dutch meetings?
Good questions, and a lot of passion - one day I dream of a Dutch team at teams champs alongside the Lions, and our NZ track based teams
Kings Lynn is an awesome track, but 9 races in a night does leave a lot of time to wait in Hamburger and beer ques

Bring some of the Dutch and Pommy drivers over here and chuck them into our superstocks and see how they go . Frankie Wainman Jnr is an exception due to him having raced so much in NZ .

did kiwis go to england first or did they come here?
defferantly the way forward is getting into the Netherlands. then bring there drivers over here for the world 240s. once that happens you start to bring in teams racing. it doesnt start with teams. starts with a revamped 240s to allow so many english and so many Dutch. plus some test match stockcars. like the springs run in midgets.
but do we need to go over to netherlands first and start making connections before they start coming put here?

There were a couple of Dutch drivers over 2 or 3 years ago driving cars owned by the Dykstras from memory

Just need to start some relationships I guess.
There is a massive meeting April’s called the Kings meetinnni think ?
A two Dayer that all the top UK guys go to.
If a couple of Kiwis could get over there it would make a difference
And of course if you race a car from a local you reciprocate in NZ so that would kick things off.
Allready footage of the world final up! Awesome event

You can see why its so hard to win, alot of cars sitting on the infield, those first few laps are a matter of survival to have any chance, well done to Tom Harris.Does anyone know what the flashing orange lights mean on some of the cars.

The amber lights denote the superstar grade used in non championship races. The starting order for all races usually is White - lowest point scorers Yellow - Some points scores Blue - Good consistent scorers Red - high point scorers Superstar (red with flashing lights) - the sports elite
