Mr Kay is the best promotor they have had at Baypark (the new version) so I am happy to see him back.
Since he came in at the last minute give him a bit of time to sort out what is going on and to get people in place for various things like media etc.

I was at Baypark Saturday night and quite enjoyed the show. Good fields of sprintcars, supers and six shooters. Kiddiestocks were ok but with only 9 stock cars they were pretty boring even though they tried in the feature.
Crowd was very small. The meeting was well run and finished on time even with the 7pm start.
Hope more people make the effort next time but the promotion will have to do some serious advertising etc.

Was a good night. Dusty slick from the get-go but as you state, good fields. All-Blacks Rugby and Labour Weekend probably accounted for a few spectators missing. I agree the promotion was late (even up on the stadium) and no website doesn't help. Need to get that sorted and the crowds should come.

With fairly good numbers in other classes on the night what has happened to the stockcar class at baypark dozen cars including visitors on that track would be a dull show I assume more cars are yet to front ?

It was a good night's racing. The place was looking really good, painted wall and clean. It was a good start for the season
