Wanganui Toyota sponsors the Superstock class at Oceanview Family Speedway, and has also been a sponsor of the Wanganui Warriors and Wanganui Vulcans. Richard and Michelle, who own Wanganui Toyota, are awesome people and it is a pleasure to do business with them.
We also have a fantastic supporter in Display Associates, a design and signwriting company in the city; they are responsible for the new SS Motorsport livery this season, from design to application. They have been hugely supportive of the sport for many years, and have poured a huge amount of time and resource into both individuals' racecars, and the Warriors and Vulcans. They supply all our merchandise, and their designer Emma is the partner of Superstock driver Carl Burns, and their work is awesome. My business has had more than 20 vehicles wrapped in lime green and purple by Display Associates over the last 12 years, and I love the quality of their work.
Businesses like these are the lifeblood of speedway. They put far more in than they ever get back, but the professionalism of their work has really lifted the appearance and quality of race vehicles, and that gives the sport of speedway a real lift. Unfortunately, I see challenges ahead with many businesses likely to pull back on sponsorships as economic condition tighten over the next 18 to 24 months. I suspect that both racers and spectators will pick and choose what meetings they attend this season.

Possibly.......there are a couple in Blenheim to add to the mix. I heard ch-ch where light on numbers too so if they all work together there might be a reasonable field now and again. As for Nelson, will have to wait and see if numbers will swell past the last few seasons muster.

Does anyone know the superstock numbers in CHCH????I know Ngatai is only racing super saloons this year and not sure if Jayden Ward is still racing here or has gone back to the north island.

IMHO Peter Rees giving a nod to the original Tank with the wheel guards and what with it being red and number double one and all.
I think its different and I think its cool.
