Good luck Seth and Cody Hodge in their step up to Superstocks: "Sadly, both Ministocks have been sold but it's awesome to know that another two brothers will be racing them in the very near future. SuperStocks - here we come !! It's going to be an exciting season, with lots to learn both on and off the track. A massive thank you to Scott & Vicki Miers for their generous support and encouragement."

Good luck to Seth and Cody as they move up to Superstocks. Someone has made a significant investment in the speedway future of these two young fellas, who as far as I am aware, are still just 16. They could have had another season in Youth Ministocks, but at least someone else will have a chance of winning now! From a commentator's point of view, it's good that they are no longer in identical cars too. When you had them, the Whelan boys and Cody Ogle from Stratford all in the same race, it could be a flippin' nightmare!

Excellent piece, but will they, as new drivers to the class, be signed off to race at Wanganui's season-opener? Unless they plan to contract to Wanganui, won't Seth and Cody first have to complete at least one meeting at Palmerston North before they get released from the mentor programme?

Shaun Smith's Toyota-powered 53V is brand new for this season. I have had it confirmed that Maddie Wise will be campaigning Shaun's Nissan-powered car from last season.

Dyno runs today with SS Motorsport, 136v Maddie Wise and more 81v and 53v are live streams on Go Slideways TV facebook page.
I played both video's at the same time which sounded cool, a few minor typo's by me in my video's, but more to come of course.

Has PN lost two more Supers as the Dykstra bros now with V on the side. Correct. The Dykstras have decided to race out of Wanganui this season. 28V is for sale, and Ricky Dykstra is having a break from racing. Until it sells, 28V will be driven by Elias Dykstra. Zane will continue to drive the 38P car. About a dozen Superstocks at Wanganui's practice this afternoon, including 1NZ Randal Tarrant, 166B Hayden Hart, the 175P Tank and Seth and Cody Hodge with their new cars. Of the locals, the new cars of Bruce Williams (41V) and Shaun Smith (53V) looked right on the pace. I will update the fields for the Grand Opening Meeting on the Oceanview Opening thread later tonight, but we have around 30 Superstocks entered to date, and around 34 Stockcars confirmed. It should be an excellent start to the season in our part of the world.

Stuey Jefferies 74q "There’s a real buzz around the Queensland Stockcar Club at the moment, there is some red hot racing going on up front with Stockcars going faster than ever before over here with some real hard n fast racing and some good contact between the front runners, after being involved in another division for the past 20 years I can honestly say I’m loving the switch back to where I started back in the early 90’s. (in NZ) I’m excited to see where the class is going to be in the coming few years, this weekend we return to Archerfield hopefully with good car numbers but no matter how many we have the racing will be furious, there’s a great bunch of new young guys coming through getting a grip on their machines, I’m looking foward to a great battle with Mike Foley and beware of the bear Graeme Rangihuna who will be steering The 08 enforcer, get ya tickets and come support the only contact class in Australia!" Mean Stuey

Not massive fields like here, but Stuey Jefferies had a great night tonight: "What an epic return to Archerfield Speedway, the PJR Gold Coast Stockcar winning all 4 races tonight, we got three weeks break now to get this engine running better, a massive thanks to my crew who worked their butts off just to get me out each race, Paul Karsten, Luke Parsonage, Ricky Sendall and Little Boss for the videos." The class is growing and I support all Australian (Super) Stockcar competitors giving it a go there, and here.
