Gerry Linklater has bought Max Holloways 81V to race full time next season. About time he got a run and like he says on his facebook page its been 20 years in the making. The chassis Gerry has bought is actually Shaun Smith's 53V car from last season, which Max drove as 81V. Max's old car was run by Dan Cox as 93V. Gerry has bought the engine out of that car, and a new chassis is coming for Max for next season with Shaun's motor. Gerry is jumping out of his skin at the prospect of driving a competitive Superstock, and in the outings he had in the 93V car are anything to go by, he'll be on the pace right away. He's sold his Stockcar to Caleb Gosney, so will be 100% focused on the Super next season, and with his experience and his race smarts, he'll be a driver to watch. |

4b Joe Faram racing a superstock at Stratford this Saturday, any idea who,s car he is driving?? . My understanding is he kept his last Tri Rail, I believe with the SVO in it. Still has the bright orange livery. He raced it in Gisborne in December. |
