Hate to think what they will charge for the GP.

I thought it was a good night, warm too. I'll have to look up the run off rules, just so that I know what I'm watching, but the refs were busy all night with disqualifications in all classes. But I thought it was a good night. 97p Mike Zachan & Ben Franklin 34p Rebecca Barr & 32p Graeme Barr 39p Graeme Munn and 1NZ Tyler Walker were going out to get each other, but 1NZ ended the game with this hit on Friday night at Palmerston North 9s Carol Podjursky destroyed a couple of strainer posts with this ride. 67p Alec Wilson was on the receiving end of a big hit from 172p Daniel Burmeister 557c Darryl Wallace recovered from this and still went pretty fast with a munted wing. 947p is Chris Collingwood. 77b Jason Penn 5w Keegan Levien

I thought it was a pretty good night last night. The Bryce Jenson/Luke Miers battle will be one to watch. They both have talent to burn and have both come into their own this season.
I don't know where the myth about run off rules being any different to normal racing rules comes from. I've heard a few ppl over the last few years try and tell me run offs use teams racing rules. Anyway the ref made a good call IMHO, if indeed the reds were activated to remove the stationary car before he could launch an attack on the approaching lead car.
In hindsight the meeting should prob have been run with over one night. There are not that many meets anywhere that need to be two nighters, but that's by the by.
What last night and probably tonight did prove is what I've always said, promoters-don't overfill your program. 4 classes is perfect, 5 is OK. Anything more is an overkill and not the good value ppl seem to think it is. I really enjoyed it last night and look forward to tonight

That's one of the rules that was changed at this year's AGM I think, reverted back to what it used to be. No myth involved.

This weekend is the same price as any normal meeting. Speedway is what keeps the arena's doors open, no other sport puts anywhere near the same amount of money into the venue

Poor crowds all season .wouldnt say its admission price. Maybe wrong mix. To many classes as said. Waganuis having a great season. So is Wellington. Needs something
