That's a total of 113 120 121 122 entries to date, which is mind-blowing. We'll be checking the PO Box over the next couple of days, and we'll see what else arrives by email, but we reckon the Elite Mechanical New Zealand Superstock Championship is going to be a not-to-be-missed weekend, and it's only five weeks away!
I'll do a track breakdown tomorrow. Right at the moment though, we're all buzzing with excitement!

The total now stands at 50, and with entries due to close this Friday, we'd expect a late rush, in the best traditions of speedway! Ramjam - Kristy's has changed owners, so my tab is no longer valid, and anyway, they had a direct debit on your TAB account; I thought you would have noticed by now There are plenty of good cafes around town, and if it's fish and chips you're after, George's in Victoria Avenue is the go. They also have a dining room attached to the fish and chip shop, and the meals will satisfy the largest appetite!

Entries are flowing in now, and a further four were received last night after our entries person had sent a report through to the committee. The total as at last night stood at 65, with plenty of well-known names still to get their entries in.

if it is capped at 130 that leaves 17 more you can accept with names missing such as stanaway, ngati, ward, Steiner, amoung others. only 4 bay cars so far. its been a tough season for them at meeanee this year. mike mac will have no bay car to help in his group lol

The group draw will be randon, so all the B cars could potentially end up in the same group, or all in different groups. Whatever happens, I think it's safe to say that Mike Mac can look after himself. Also, we've cancelled our meeting on Saturday 14th December, so there are just two meetings left for guys to come and have a skid at Oceanview. We're racing tomorrow (1st December) and next Sunday (8th December), then that's it until the Big Dance. Both meetings start at 5pm, and with the GP in Palmerston North next Saturday night, we'd expect a bumper field next week. Anyone wanting to race at either meeting can contact Cameron Jurgens on 021-711-635.
