Any details on the when and where for scutineering? What practises are planned? What time do gates open, and can the public come through pit gates earlier? Will there be security patrolled parking?

Any details on the when and where for scutineering? What practises are planned? What time do gates open, and can the public come through pit gates earlier? Will there be security patrolled parking? 1) Scrutineering will be held at Wanganui Racecourse on Friday morning, from 10am 2) Practice is on Thursday night, from 7pm to 9pm. The goal is to allow drivers to practice in the same conditions they will race in the following night. The pit gate opens at 3pm, vehicle checking starts at 4pm and there will be a drivers briefing at 6pm 3) Public gates open at 4pm each day. Admission prior to that is restricted to competitors and crews, staff and volunteers 4) There will be four off-road parking areas. This will be run by the local Rotary Clubs and the cost is $5 per car. All proceeds will go to local youth projects. Security personnel will check the parking areas from time to time. We will publish a map showing the parking areas a few days before the event. Extra information - The Grand Parade on Friday night will be at 6pm, to enable time to clear and prepare the track so that racing can start at 7pm sharp. On Saturday night, the Grand Parade of the Top 25 will take place at 6.30pm. The repecharge will be the first race of Night Two, with the winner only moving on to the Top 26. Friday night will be 15 Superstock races, with no support class. On Saturday night, we are running a Best Pairs competition with an invited field of 26 Youth Ministocks. When the Superstock qualifiers draw their grids in the clubrooms after racing on Friday night, they will also draw their Ministock pair. We've chosen this as a support event because it won't be too hard on the track, and as an encouragement to the up and coming drivers in the Youth class; look how many current and recent champions across a range of classes started in YM. Any more questions?
