Am I right in assuming that Bobby Griffin has the number 166 so will he be driving the Hampton Tri Rail that everybody else has driven over the last few years (Collingwood, Young Dylan, Frankie and Nik Fowler). Must be the hottest seat in a super stock ever and none of them have done anything with a supposedly big dollar car.

Is it possible to expand the finals number from 26 to 28? Add another two kiwis to the finals. It's just such a huge amount of entries surely 240's could explore dispensation?

I agree Tiroto..huge entries & no disrespect to the Poms but the only 1 to ever really look upto the standard of the kiwis was Frankie when he was at his best.

Talking about more qualifying spaces due to huge interest the 3/4 format might be a idea were at least 35 cars qualifying for the main game 26 on the track all getting 3 races over four heats to find a winner allows for more cars to qualify obviously would also guarantee more cars throughout each of the finals races not sure how it would effect the action though ? Rotorua use this format currently due to big fields any thoughts?

Rotorua use this format currently due to big fields any thoughts? that format wouldnt work. will all be over by 3rd heat. so why run the forth. hence they dropped it for the bay of plenty stockcar champs after two seasons. not everybody can qualify. and that is what makes the title more sought after. shows the amount of supers that are up north. think there is more up north than lower north island these days i swear. 120 supers completing for 22 spots. and thats racinb. the huge unknown.
