They don't pre-sell all of the seating, but they have put out the "we are full" signs on the second night at least once. Barry B

Stephen Taylor entered should be a good watch. Some may say he uses a bit of bumper in the sprintcars so will be used to it 🎣🎣 I take it that this is the son of Ian Taylor if so who's car is he driving.

Fantastic news that current North Island Sprintcar Champ, and one of Palmys favorite adopted sons 21p Stephen Taylor will be canning Dan Hole's 371k Superstock in the World 240's at Paradise Valley, Rotorua this weekend. Stephen has raced a Minisprint this season as well, and recently came 3rd in the NZ Sprintcar Grand Prix, so he's having a great summer. No matter what letter on Dans car, Palmy will be right behind the son of Stockcar Legend 21w Ian Taylor. Good luck and give it heaps like a crazy demolition man with the hateful eight under the hood mate. Pete

In this digital age is it time we focused on building atmosphere, giving analysis, critical information and providing some basic detail for the uninformed who might be there for the first time. Listening to all the grids is rather painful and for all the championship meetings I've attended in the last couple of years I reckon I've seen maybe two people filling the grids out in their programme. Reading out fill grids for all groups seems a very outdated approach imo. Just had Mintie trying to give us some information but he was interrupted for more grids!

Helps to keep track biggest movers. Eg biggest move 1st race 591 P up 14 spots from grid 16 to finish 2nd. Commentators keep us up to date and reason why Rotorua so good at including spectators in action.

Good that you can hear the commentary at home! We heard the grids, but now at the track the infield mic is the only one feeding the pa system. Ridiculous

Pretty proud that for the 2nd year in a row one of my photos has featured on the cover of the World 240's program. Simon Joblin last year, Benji Sneddon this year. Joblin Motorsport latest poster. "..thanks to Go Slideways for the photos, JG Designs for the awesome design, and Vanessa at House of Design & Graphics for organising the printing at such short notice." ..top right corner, nice.

By the time all the grids or points are read out for each heat the next race will have started drowning it out or the other commentator is almost pissing their pants wanting to interrupt with some info from down the pits.
