Obviously, he doesn't read what he wrote? Doesn't palmy hold about 15k? How hard is it to read. I said 30000 people at average ticket price of 100k over two nights. I didn't say per night. Some seriously smart people on this page 😴🤦♂️ 17k i think

Some seriously smart people on this page 😴🤦♂️ No you didn't, go back and read your post. You even said 30k attend over other nights at an average of $100, which brings in 3million. The last line clearly shows you thinking/saying the $100 is per night. Instead of waffling on about everyone else's intelligence, go back and read what you actually said.

Some seriously smart people on this page 😴🤦♂️ Let's Try this slowly We are assuming 15000 go each night We are assuming those 15000 ppl pay an average of $50 per night We are assuming they do that 2x So 15000 X 50 = 750,000 750,000 X 2 = half of the... Let's say 30, 000 attend over the 2 nights at an average of 100$ which is working on theow side that's 3million

Central Energy Trust Arena has a capacity of 15,000. Temporary seating is added for major events allowing the capacity to reach 20,000. Central Energy Trust Arena is home to Manawatu Rugby. Generally one club game will be played on the ground per week, whilst it is the Manawatu Turbos' home ground. Capacity: 15,000 (Arena 1); 5,000 (Arena 2); 2,... Location: Palmerston North Central, Manawat... Former names: Palmerston North Showgrounds, ... Owner: Palmerston North City Council www.google.com/search?sxsrf=ACYBGNRCgeZs0hK38Q5ruFte0mzaSepHfg%3A1579975584681&source=hp&ei=oIMsXtW_J_LB3LUP_IeHsAk&q=manawatu+arena+capacity&oq=manawatu+arena+capacity&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0i22i30.477238.497660..498565...2.0..0.227.5261.0j8j18......0....1..gws-wiz.......0i131j0j35i39j0i70i251j0i22i10i30j0i13i70i251j0i13j0i13i30j0i13i5i30j0i8i13i30j0i8i13i10i30j0i30j0i8i30.qh60t4YA_no&ved=0ahUKEwjVj-jbq5_nAhXyILcAHfzDAZYQ4dUDCAY&uact=5Taken from that link. Normal capacity is 15,000 Capacity with additional seating 20,000 So for manistand: 20,000 each night @ $50 = $1,000,000 x 2 nights = $2,000,000 Further; P/Nth earn 20,000 visitors spending $200-$500 each, so average $300 = $6,000,000

no no no you guys have got it wrong. you forgot the home and away rules where away goals are worth two palmy goals. where palmy counter this rule by actually shifting goal posts when they need to, to balance it out. so actually mainstead had it right all along.

I thought an average of 100 over 2 nights was on thr low side with bugger all GA these days. I think what we can agree on is the teams deserve more money and there definitely is enough to go around.

No we don't agree. Grandstand seating is $80 + child $30 Embankment $60 + $25 GA is $50 + $15 and family is $120 ( the only family discount) Embankment "J" is $80 + $30 So the average adult will be closer to $60 than $80, as most seating are the 2 lower prices. Then add in all the child seats sold, average seat sold would be $50 or lower (adding in families, lots of families come) So we come to needing a average price ($50) per seat. Next the capacity. Stated at 20,000 with extra seating (a given) So both nights are sold out, yes (?) 20,000 @ $50 = $1,000,000 x 2 nights = $2,000,000 So no where near your $3,000,000 and I can bet Rammers grandmother,s second child's son's left testicle, that's on the high side.

The 20k capacity was for the the rugby league test where they put seating on the track as seen here
For the record I don't support putting seating on the track for this event.

does that include genral admision Picky, picky. Capacity is not just seating, it's about H&S for crowd control and exiting in emergencies.

I see on Facebook that the Kings are being named on Tuesday and Carl Hodge is on the list of contenders with 58k next to his name.. it's hard because he would be a great addition, but might be a bit unfair to the guys who run most weekends?
