Here, for those following the Elite Mechanical New Zealand Superstock Championship at home or via the live stream is the Championship table for tonight's racing with grids, especially for BarryB Lots of surprise omissions, including Peter Rees, Asher Rees, Jordan Dare, Wayne Hemi, Malcolm Ngatai and a number of others. I haven't yet been given the repecharge field, but that will be finalised in due course. The repecharge winner will start Heat One from grid 11. There are also a few names you wouldn't expect; Todd O'Donnell and Carl Burns would probably be at the top of that list, although Burns has been the most consistent V driver this year, and is seldom a DNF. Harley Robb was quick all last night, and hasn't had to use his bumper yet, and both Levien cars were fast. Track breakdown: P 7, G 3, B 3, C 2, N 2, K 2, S 2, W 2, R 1, V 1 with one to be added.

Hey Tony everything was great my only gripe can we turn the sound up a tad for us vips in the stand π We'll see what we can do. With our sound going through The Pits digital gear, we were a bit unsure about the settings last night. It was a learning experience having a director in your ear while you're trying to commentate, but we'll be better prepared tonight, I'm sure. How was the view from up there?

How was the view from up there? view from up there is awesome mate. turn the sound up, the wind down and speed up the food and it will be a perfect night 2 - lol ! Serious, congratulations on night one. i think many may have been a tad worried about accomodating such large numbers and still having decent parking for fans. got in to venue and seat with no issues at all and leaving was a breeze - thumbs up guys and heres to a great night 2

Awesome job should be proud and it looks like race 1 tonight will kick the night off. Superstocks went through a quiet phase a few years ago around time meeanee hosted the champs but the biff is back big time with a lot of off field dramas etc haha

If the officials relegate every driver that dives for the grass entering T1 on Lap 1, so as to be on the inside, a win from the back is completely possible. Although where they'd all then finish up can depend on whether they drop them down one at a time - and in that case, what order they relegate them in - or whether they relegate them en masse. For example, if you're going to relegate 4th, 5th and 6th, and relegate them individually, in that order with a revised result in between, they all finish up back where they originally finished. If you relegate 6th two spots, then 5th and then 4th, with a revised result in between, 7th and 8th become 4th and 5th with the others all going back 2 spots each. Hopefully if there are as many as 6 to be relegated 2 spots each, they all get relegated en masse, meaning some drivers could climb as many as six positions depending on how close together all of the relegated cars finished. But last night, with so many cars going 4 wheels across the grass entering T1, and the amount of dust being kicked up, I doubt any were pinged as the officials would need to watch multiple replays to ensure they pined the correct drivers.
