You are normally such an insightful man Slideways, but something must be wrong if you think the Panthers have a hope of making the final This year is the 40th Anniversary of Teams Champs. The mighty Palmerston North Panthers have made the semi finals 39 times in the past 39 years, then gone onto 23 finals for a record of 18 wins. The Kings have never won, the Giants have never won. So I'm picking last years winners the Eagles who now have the experienced Darrel Wallace racing for them to meet the home turf hero's the mighty Panthers in the finals. Jack, William, Jordan, Wayne and Pete are no novices. PS: I'm glad that old scratched record "smash the P" seems to have finally gone off the playlist.

Smashing out the way is a bit different to a wind off. Likely to be a mutral agreement where Pete and Asher sit this race out. Dude what planet are you on. I’ve never seen either lift when teams racing against each other. Think mustangs v panthers etc Same for Jack and Scott Miers when they raced each other in the same situation. Anyone who has competed knows that you when your up against your mates/family you try twice as hard since you respect them. Unless your speaking from experience where you’ve let it slide in the past.

They are really starting to look like old Grandpa,s team ,the grass cutter is to blind these days ,so it will be good night nurse early ,so slideways ,will have to change and go different ways to photograph the podium winner ..

Be interesting to see if teams try and adopt the same tactic used on peter Rees by thy Hawkeyes the Rees spanks to me do look vulnerable to big hits compared to the older chassis that Asher uses

I heard they were plating up the LH side tank like to strengthen, given they were right on the minimum weight. Also a few bits of steel in other places. 60 kg wheel guard ? darn

Heard the "Arrow" spanks are 1386kg race ready with strategically placed ballasts to make legal weight. Wouldn't want anything fallin off dependin how close to 1400kg they end up.

Yes we all remember the bus meeting before the Panthers V Mustangs final.

Also heard this years wing has a hydraulic arm included. Not to adjust downforce, rather the give a “push off” the track to try and give traction back when stuck in the wall, and to prevent the roll over. There’s a little red T shaped stick in the cockpit that performs this action. Brownie points to the first to get a picture of the in car T stick control posted on here 👍🏻 Interesting to see it’s not just strength, but recognising when things go pear shaped how to come back from it

On reputations there a very formidable side and flying under the radar a little bit
