Haven’t really followed Super Saloons but after watching at teams champs this year, I’ve got to say the new Pro X chassis is a bit boring to watch. The last couple of years at palmy the BK Series nearly stole the show. Obviously Pro X is a fantastic piece of engineering and the guy who builds them has nailed it but if they all buy Pro X next year, racing will become even more of a follow the leader parade.

Pro X built under the guidance of Maurice Cowling are great cars, but not everyone comes to grip with them look at the 2 Corrins last year and the year before. Hypermac in the south island are still doing well in there series. This will make for a good NZ's in Christchurch in a couple weeks. Other chassis (Haywood's - Osborne etc.) are all there or there about.

Be interesting to see whether they hug the pole line at W.G in a couple of weeks time .. Normally there's 2 racing lines....

Be interesting to see whether they hug the pole line at W.G in a couple of weeks time .. Normally there's 2 racing lines.... From what I saw of them when they were here a month back they looked untouchable in the features, Cardwell has his humming in the longer race too. The wildcard who we didn’t see that night was Ritchie Taylor who is normally the man in those conditions down here
