One of the best tracks in NZ for Super Saloons. Any trifecta needs to include Richie Taylor, particularly at the Glen. In reality probably one of most wide open Championships in years. See you trackside!

86c 3nz 58c
Hayden McKay has shown heaps of speed this season. Knows how to pedal round wfg. Just won the Canterbury champs last week
Ian burson is a bloody good racer who's been one of the best round the south island. Knows his way round the track and is overdue for a good result this season
Richie taylor one of my picks as he is the old fox at the glen. Been racing there for years and is another of the top south island drivers
That's my picks. Hoping 58c does the job as hes my favourite super saloon driver

If all the ducks line up on the day which they have not done this season. 124M Dan Corrin outside chance.

Chris Cowling on another planet at the moment. Not even sure you can call yourself a speedway fan if you don't want Richie Taylor to win it given how many times he's been so close yet so far but he hasn't looked likely so far this year (hope I'm wrong on that). Could say the same for Burson (good enough but hasn't shown it this season albeit a luckless season so far), Saw Wadell has been going backwards in features. Steve Cowling, Ryan Marsden, Peter Dickson, Fluffy Grocott, Grant Flynn, Trevor Elliott and the new comer Hayden McKay hunting around there for minor placings but maybe if anyone can cause an upset it's Dan Corrin. Outside of Chris and maybe Steve Cowling it's pretty open. Not sure Mark Osborne can find the set up in the new car after not looking close yet (hope I'm wrong on that too). Will be a goodie

Cardwell is my dark horse, hasn’t had much luck recently in qualifying but has been moving forward in finals, and is driving the chassis of the moment. Hard to see anything other than a ProX on the top of the podium after the weekend here a month back
Burson will be interesting, realised that what he has been doing hasn’t been working late in the night so has pulled the car apart and thrown a lot of new ideas into it
Elliott was the pick of the local pack early on in the season so I wouldn’t write him out
