Yes. Which is why points are bit meaningless at this time. Only when all five rounds have been run do the starting grids balance out to reveal the top points scorers.

Top 16 on points go to the final grids 1-16, then two repercharges to find grids 17-20.

So everyone gets 3 races each night and is still in with a chance to win it till the last repercharge. Four lucky drivers get 4 races on the second night.

The 2 repercharges are effectively the b-mains.

rain radar is looking very bad. Bot looking good for tonight at all

Local weather page says we are about to cop the heaviest rain for months and there is a distinct change in the temperature the last 10mins

It's just started bucketing down here I'm about 20 mins from the track cant see racing going ahead tonight at all looks likely to be at 5pm tomorrow instead.

Just having a look at the grids for the remaining heats and Taylor looking very good to move up the order with a 1 and 3 start in his remaining heats. Waddell, Osborne and Pitcher all off the back 2 rows for theirs, Dickson a couple of mid starts so he is looking good for the front row of the final. 73c placed ok to go forward as well and the quiet achiever Grant Flynn has 2 handy starts as well

That’s why if Taylor puts himself right up there he is in with a huge shout, home track and has won over the long distance many times
