That is harder to pick than a broken nose - too many to choose from.

9w for me. Was not a name I was familiar with prior to this weekend. Very promising young talent. Altho Dale Robertson with his out wide, foot down, run the gauntlet style when running, and ability to know which car to attack when blocking would go close. He turned the clock back 10 years.

Drive of the weekend for me was 56G Taylor to win against Tasman on his own. Overall driver of the weekend was 89W Robertson. Even though unfortunately ruled out of the final his skill at blocking and running at the right time was critical for Wellington in their victories.

Are you saying Dale was ruled out of the final for what reason would that be.

Wellington had sixth driver in Dale's car for the final. Not sure why Dale withdrew.

Wellington had sixth driver in Dale's car for the final. Not sure why Dale withdrew. He wasnt 100% and welly had plenty of tallent as a team so right thing was done. Driver of the weekend 9W but all those Welly boys did equally as good.

How much did the nucleus of this team learn from competing in the ENZED Superstock Teams Champs just three weeks ago! Well done and well deserved victory to the Young Guns who looked unbeatable, although kudos must go to the Rotorua Rascals for putting up such a great fight on Qualifying night and almost snatched the victory. That match-up apart, the Young Guns were a class above every other team in this competition. Hopefully we will see them again in action at Easter, competing for the Peter Barry Memorial Teams Champs in Meeanee.
