I'm really looking forward to the Stockcar Ultimate Knockout at Welly this Saturday night. A really good Knockout format for pairs
Some interesting names among the 20 pairs entered so far and I'm assuming entries are still open.
Really good format and it was one of the highlights of last season. Qualifying to get the top 16 pairings who get split into 4 groups of 4. Top two pairings (first across the line) from those go thru to semi finals with top two from then going into the 4 team final.
1. Choppers - 12w James Martin & 74w Corey "Wheels" Small 2. Lemons - 9w Bryce Jensen & 5w Josh Prentice 3. Shake & Bake - 15p Luke Mires & 99s William Hughes 4. Walla Go - 47w Anthoney Hocking & 71w Josh O'Keeffee 5. Sidewinder - 669w Brendan Tye & 84p Matt Webb 6. Cheech and Chong - 971c Jayden Ward & 75p Sam Prescott   7. Get one - 223p Ratea Robinson & 247p David Marshall  8. Rackham & Stack Em - 93p Kane Dittmer & 29p Stu Rackham 9. KDUB - 91w Kyle Lane & 3NZK Mitch Vickery 10. Shoey - 2NZ Tyler Walker & 46w Ethan Levien 11. Grub Tanks - 10w Desiree Craike & 45w Kelly Houghton 12. Soul Takers - 113p Katie Prescott & 13p Lucas Hay 13. Cowboys - 79p Kyle Rowe & 174p Brendon Learmonth 14. Dismantlers - 98w Ashlee Gaskin-Robertson & 89w Dale Robertson  15. Bad Intentions - 25w Jarrod Higgins & 62w Darren Gray 16. Mincers - 82p Roydon Winstanley & 96b Brandon Symes 17. Streetstockers - 97w Mitchell Sveistrup & 77w Dan Bouzaid 18. Big Rigs - 52b Reagan OBrien - 4h Josh Humble 19. Welly Terminators - 14w Sam Parker - 96w Brad McGee 20. Paired - 85p Cameron Mander & 54w Blake Barnett

I see they are also advertising the Wellington Super Saloon Champs as running that night. Anyone know who is expected to front for that?

I see Keegan Levien is in 89w (paired with 98w.). Is Dale not good after the Stratford Teams?

The MTF Upper Hutt Rollover Jackpot is normally $50 per race for three races a night. Obviously with this format having very few all in races there was provision for it to be held over for this meeting, but it's been decided to put the whole $150 in the pot on the last Stockcar race of the night, which will be an all in after the KO final. That is the only race it is available to be struck. I think from memory it currently sits at $250 after it got struck in heat 1 of the Wellington champs. So that means the all in race will have a Rollover Jackpot of $400. Sounds like you eh Regan?

So is Dale not to good seeing he has pulled out tomorrow night. More precautionary I beleive but we will talk to him as part of the winning team from last week in the pre show from 6.30 Saturday night. For those out of town I THINK you can listen thru speedway live, but not 100%sure on that. Dale has always been straight up and down anytime I've interviewed him on any matter so I dare say he will clear things up tomorrow night.

Don't you worry about that. I'll asking everyone from the team manager to the hot dog seller.

I think Dale has a big following. He does. Remarkably for a fairly high profile driver I have only ever had anyone with a bad word to say about him once. I don't know who that particular boof head was but they must have been the best Stockcar driver of all time cause they had disparaging things to say about every driver on the track except the one who's shirts they were wearing. I was going to call then fans, but they weren't at all. They were just numbnuts.
