Auckland has 5 registered cars. Of the Huntly cars, three actually live in Huntly, one in Katikati and all the others north of the Bombays; as does the Rotorua car

Hopefully your efforts will be rewarded with a few more A cars next season. Surely the class must be starting to look viable for new drivers? Between A.H.R. there is a full calendar of meetings to attend without driving very far, and there are plenty of fairly competitive Mods collecting dust in sheds that could probably be picked up for 20-25k.

There was a field of 10 - 12 Mods a Stratford on Saturday, just the 1 Wellington car from memory. All cars were very competitive and some good racing.

Congratulations to 1nz Bradley lane winning the Auckland modified champs, unlucky for Jamie Fox smashing into a spun up car just as the race was getting good to between him and Bradley.

Petrolfumes has uploaded video of the feature...
If you enjoy that race then I recommend this one for the Saloons the night before. Just a club race but you could easily have been mistaken and thought it was a NZ champs. Incredibly close racing right through. Drivers came off the track with huge smiles. This is what racing is about...good hard close racing with the drivers showing respect for each other.
