Once the world is back to normal and we can start travelling again I might have the opportunity to go to a NASCAR race. I was wondering which race is the best one to go to AND why? So for anyone who has been to NASCAR in the States can you please give me your thoughts. Thank you.

Have been to the Brickyard 400 at indy two times, was cool being at that famous track but if I had a choice I would go to Talladega or Bristol, they would be pretty cool, haven't been a fan of nascar lately but after what has happened now, when it starts again I might start watching it again lol.

Have done the 500 at Daytona, definitely a great weekend at such an historic even. Have been told Bristol is definitely one to do, short bull ring that you can see everything so always something going on.

We went to Richmond. I wanted to go to a race where I could see the whole track. The bonus was their September race weekend has two events. They run the Xfinity Series on the Friday then the Nascar race on Saturday. It is easy to get to the track from the city, plus if you fly into Charlotte you can visit some of the race shops on your drive up to Richmond.

Phoenix Speedway was awesome. Bigger track that you can see all of. Massive pile up on the last lap right on the finish line when Darnika Patrick dropped alot of fluid on the last corner the lap before.

Teladaga is the track the racers hate but the spectators love. Simply because it is the fastest track around which creates balls out racing combined with some serious carnage. They did try restricter plate racing there a while back but the spectator backlash convinced nascar to revert back . Check out u tube for some racing there and especially last years final restart to see what typically happens there.

Its not actually that great at Talladega because of the restictor plates. My favourite track is Pocono, home of the worlds longest single story grandstand, with the best location miles away from the nearest city in the mountains 2 hours from Philly.Same size as Dega but with one extra corner and wide open throttles. Look out for the deer in the middle of the track and wandering around the carparks.

Didn't really get a sensation of high speeds because the track is so big. No support races on main race day (maybe that's how they all are). Drafting all race with positions not having any importance until near the end when luck plays a fairly big part. Talladega is better to watch on TV with in car cameras etc. Unless you camp there with the rednecks for a few days.
