Same price cruz. Will tracks be able to go with area lockdowns. Will the country be in lockdown. Will there be a vaccine. Anybody fancy a game of russian roulette? My money is on 21 red a vaccine will be found. And everything will be okay. But just to be sure. Will watch from my couch. 3 first, 1 second, one third in 5 years. Only way is down. Isnt that right panthers fans? Sounds great but I'll check if the Panthers have had a 100% record of podium finishes 5 years in a row, not sure if that is a record but sure is pretty good. Its a tough contest, fantastic consistency from the mighty Panthers - bring on 2021 ! Pete hes refering to the Hawkeyes run of 5 straight podiums... 2016 - 1st 2017 - 1st 2018 - 3rd 2019 - 2nd 2020 - 1st Which as Panthers fans know from their record run of wins and podiums... the only way is down... but its looking like the Panthers are on the way up again.

So with fees, and if you book with a cc, your looking at $100 a night in the grandstand? Gee I feel ripped for being in ga for all of my life, I got an 8$ increase.. Hey look, the country is buggered at the mo.. I love my stocks guys, and I travel everywhere too to watch.. I love it.. I'll pretty much go to where ever can run this year.. But I'm not gonna pay that price for zero refund if it doesn't go down in palmy 2021.. I so hope I'm proved wrong.. I love my sport

With the return of the Tigers 🐅 $93 is well worth it Wow! 93$ for the grandstand on the first night before any ticketek fees are even added.. This is just starting to get out the gate.. For the usual punter where covid is crazy and people have lost jobs I don't think they are going to fill the place this year.. It is just getting to much.. I think I'll just wait and pay the crazy price of 59$ for ga.. This is just getting crazy..

How many Superstock teams races are there on the first night after the pre-show entertainment ? if you break down what you get for what you pay I think its good value, scrutineering is currently free in the square but I include that as part of the overall first day too.
Like if you saved $2 a week for 52 weeks every year you'd be sweet for night one. The real greatest show on dirt.

The big question will be, what am I going to get for my entry fee? How many Teams will still turn up would be the biggest unknown. Covid has pretty much Smashed a lot of businesses, so if they are struggling, sponsorship dollars will be the first thing to be cut from the budget. And selfemployed guys that sponsor themselves etc...?
Not trying to be negative, but Covid is going to have a flow-on effect for some time in my opinion. But I really want to be proved wrong at the time.

Can't see it selling out this time round due to Covid, we now know any small covid out break in the month prior will put all NZ in level 2 which stops anything like this from taking place. Also hiking prices in the current climate is a big gamble and a bit selfish.

I have been shooting at Palmy for 25 years now. I think covid and its ramifications might weigh heavier on peoples minds than the gate price. I suspect most will wait to see how the season pans out and what clubs are able to assemble a team.

this will sort it, great for the dirt, easy to wear, put a mask on if you have to, sit on the bottom row and scream for your favorite team

We've been going for 32 years now and its a great weekend for us but $93 a seat, our motel of 20 years wants 3 nights minimum stay when we only need 2 and the racing is nowhere near as exciting as it used to be.
Having said that, it is still good value and I can afford it but there comes a time when you just have to say NO. Not easy getting tickets nowadays either.
Covid situation doesn't help for some people. I think I will stay home and live stream.......Just for a change.....GO THE HAWKEYES.
Cheers...MEECHY

Prices will keep going up i suspect for the next 3 years with revamp of the Arena going on its has to be paid for .Might be a case of the teams champs have got to big for their own good as any increase on the gate for a normal meeting at Palmy to pay for the revamp will surely see a down turn in numbers attending.

Im sure like everything these days..costs are going up & up. Bruce must have some large bills & a massive amount of risk in getting this meeting to go ahead especially in these crazy times. I just hope the Teams are seeing an appearance fee increase..they put on the show they risk their bodies & spend the huge $ to repair damage for our viewing. $93 is still a great show when you compare it to a large music gig & these guys put on just as good a show if not better.

I don't doubt your logic, but the Arena redevelopment is already paid for, I think the economic returns to the city are such that its more of an investment than a cost. I doubt you'll see a gate price increase for normal meetings to pay for any of the redevelopment. "The total cost of the combined Arena redevelopment programme is just over $17.1 million. This includes everything from design, consultation and consenting, professional fees, through to construction. Central Energy Trust has contributed $1,078,000 towards the project, with Council funding the remainder." www.pncc.govt.nz/council-city/what-were-doing/major-capital-projects/central-energy-trust-arena-upgrade/www.facebook.com/goslidewaystv/photos/a.275269809222631/3183835655032684
