I think it might have been raced by someone from team UK many years ago? I think 44r races another car after that.

I think it was called the Ugly Duckling originally: 44r Jason Riedinger 55s Aaron Wilks 98p antzgofast photo Hope it is still around, loved seeing Murray West in this car. John Lund raced it for the UK team.

Awesome photos Gregobro
For some reason - and probably wrong - did Redinger come back out after this car in and X Gary Parkes Flat Chassis?
And I think it was Ford v 8 powered
So wondered - and this is a leap - if perhaps the engine was taken out of this and put in the flat chassis.
Which makes me wonder if the The awesome Ford Pop evens car is still around
Heeeeaaaappps of assumptions in the above but might trigger some more conversations or photos

Was certainly a warhorse and cool looking car for a long time. Sadly I dont know if it has survived. the chassis was for sale as a roller sitting in a shipping container in Tauranga on a speedway for sale site a few years back.Had an old todd and pollock busters body on it. Dont know if it sold? This is all that was left of the rest of it.
