life goes on - JUST AWESOME - On (NZ) Thursday this week for the first time in about a decade man goes back to space, for up to four months blasting off in the incredibly powerful FALCON 9 Rocket which Donald Trump said was named after the Millennium FALCON in Star Wars. I just think Elon Musk drives a XC ute. There is an awesome free app that gives you a time table and incoming direction of satelites that are going overhead that are able to be viewed with the naked eye. It also gives a map of the planets and stars at your location. Just type in your location: james.darpinian.com/satellites/?fbclid=IwAR0fknLvZeI_JWKQ0r5Stf1Fkc6OFBcf9rIImAUawtXhhA7cvqAh3tNE-TYFor example, a line of 10 bright starlink satelites will fly over Kihikihi fast at 6.22am Wednesday morning, if you've seen a fleet of 36 Starlinks go zooming overhead at different speeds you'll know what I mean - it's out of this world and fun for kids of all ages. Off topic? nah, rockets, satelites, space, live stream video and holograms and speedway are all linked. Sorry but this is only the first american launch in 10 years : Russia been sending men up to space station for years

For America there are some very worrying times a head ,as China has moved its military into training mode and its aircraft carriers out to sea in no mans land and the yellow sea Maybe putting some one in space was, not a bad idea ,tensions between the two are not that great ,and this pandemic maybe the tip of an iceberg ..speculation is running rife ,try and get finance for new developments like housing subdivisions, bankers seem to be very tight and will loan for existing ones to be finished off .Trans mission Gully has almost come to a standstill ,with the Puhoi to Warkworth one having much trouble in getting metal product as such .. Hope level one brings more happiness and isnt to long happening and the economy starts rolling a lot better and we see some good racing at the spring s once again ,.the fly on the wall may of told a few stories of whom and who shall be there ...

I hope you sent that link to Rocket Man in north Korea he has a lot of space ventures and is a keen Trump admirer .. If whoever is running the show finally gets around to establishing, and I can hear the screams of "oh no not more bureaucracy!" the new Aotearoa New Zealand Department of Marketing I'd suggest to them: As for the murderous Kim Jong-un, we don't send North Korea anything except a very expensive price list for high value primary products like beef, lamb, seafood, etc. Same price list that I would spam send to the whole wide world. Everything from sweatbreads to tua tua's except dogs, bears and cats in cages. We used to be an affluent nation based on primary production back in the days of the Oxford Union speech, everybody's got to eat. I'd give a lot more support to farmers and totally ban any further notion of foreign ownership of NZ commercial and residential property forever. SMP's might not have worked as well as the big thinker might've liked but the fact is that in 1982 there were 70 million sheep in New Zealand and anybody could go from high school straight into a pretty good paying job easy. All that farm fencing, truck driving, truck fixing, freezing working, sheep shearing money flowed right through the economy, not just the pub. As for Donald Trump, I'd say well done on saving 50 million lives (by not "unleashing fire and fury the like of which the world has never seen" upon North Korea) and then tell him we have our own rockets and launch sites thanks very much, but we're open for business to export the same very expensive high end primary products and technology, or import Hollywood and Silicon Valley as guests with a big ticket to clip. www.rocketlaunch.live/?filter=new-zealandI'd also suggest to the Dept. of Markets to make sure every business in NZ has a website. Throw the phone book away, realize what a 30 second video can do. Act locally think globally is what they say apparently. Just my opinion, but who knows comrades, I might just apply for the position of Minister For The Interior when it comes up.

Well after the last few days i have to agree with that elderly politician that level one should be aloud as the people seem to be more relaxed and mingle about almost like it never happened .A few jaffas made a little impact on our local economy up here enjoying the friendly atmosphere we have ,but to day was almost like lockdown not many souls in site ,as the gods from heaven dropped substantial rain which was much needed on most of the province ..fishing was off but a few blue nose were caught yesterday which was rewarding .. So lets hope Speedway can get a kick off date before not to long as rugby and league have been in the news ..

So much for the distancing between each other on level 2 Just look at the demonstrators marching and protesting in the main cities the Covid 19 rules just seem a joke ,with no police presents or military ,and no prime minister giving any type of instructions through media at all . I really have a lot of sympathy for all those who placed themselves at risk and worked so hard to prevent the virus from spreading and now witness these events that have happened Basically Level one now applies so let hope the door opens for everyone to enjoy and get on with life as we all know it ..

Exactly Midway. Its just an absolute F*n joke. Of course the PM wasn't going to issue any kind of statement advising ppl not to attend this protest to show solidarity with the rioters, looters, thugs, and murderer's in the USA. After all her good friends Richie Hardcore was one of the organisers. That's right the same Richie Hardcore that sent texts to the PM and asked her to intervene in the immigration case of his good friend (and rumoured dealer of choice of Clarke Gayford) Karel Sroubek. Of course we all know what happened there, but if you don't you can google details of that dirty deal. Anyway Midway the one thing you got wrong was that there was no police presence. I'm informed there was a large ish police presence and they did infact take action. What was that action I hear you ask. Well given there is supposed to be a limit of 100 ppl at any gathering and depending who you listen to, this smelly rabble had over 1000,you would think the action was to break it up and send the rent a mob on their way. Nope, I'm informed the police were handing out hand sanitiser. Like I say what an absolute joke. The asylum is now officially being run by the lunatics.

Have to agree totally with Midway and Ramjams postings. Those that protested in the George Floyd marches should be charged with civil disobedience. If business people have to abide by the rules of level 2 at great expense , no more than 100 people etc and all the financial hardship innocent people have endered thru the covid lockdown and level 3 and 2 why should these hoods be allowed to break all the distancing rules which are in place under Ministry of Health regulations. The micro biologist who has called for them to self isolate for 14 days will probably get her wish, most will probably only surface to collect their dole payment. If they get away with this disobedience how can they fine any business that doesn't obey any parts of the covid restrictions. Hopefully level 1 will of been and passed by the start of the new speedway season and life will return to the old normal.

Now we have this from our Politicians; Guess who won , greed and why should NZer's need another lockdown; Guests at a Wellington accommodation complex were stunned to discover they were sharing their hotel with a swarm of film-workers direct from a Covid-19 hotspot. Management of the QT Hotel say the film workers, direct from Los Angeles, are completely segregated from other guests, but one of those guests told Stuff she walked directly through a crowd of them unaware they had just arrived from the United States, the country with the world's highest number of Covid-19 cases. www.stuff.co.nz/dominion-post/news/wellington/121686690/guests-stunned-to-find-they-are-staying-alongside-avatar -crew-direct-from-covid19-hot-zone ps.Here is the Minister who approved this; Stuff on Sunday revealed that Economic Development Minister Phil Twyford had allowed 56 film workers past New Zealand's closed borders. It is understood these people were working on the Avatar sequels and another yet-to-be-announced project.

A certain amount of adherence to rules by the populace is required for society to function in the way we would want, otherwise you have anarchy. Unfortunately there seems to be a large number of folk in this country who are devoid of any kind of social responsibility or consideration for others. So long as "rules" benefit them they're happy to go along with them, but if there is even a hint of sacrifice requested they just raise the middle finger. Of course, should any of these actions lead to a resurgence of Covid (with a consequent extension of alert level 2 or a return to level 3), who do you think the first people to bleat would be?

There has been massive adherence to the govts direction, thats why we are 10 days without a new case. But there are things that happen is this world that need to be argued against, one of em must be a cop killing a guy either by kneeling on his neck for ten minutes or shooting him dead with a gun. Personally i dont give 2 fecks what happens in the US but some things need to have a response. Unfortunately this occurred at a time when we are fighting Covid19, but at this stage of the fight I believe it was prudent of Govt to let it ride. You've got angry black people in NZ and others protesting a murder by a cop, then you want to inflame the situ by sending in the police, not clever..sending in the army? we dont send the army against our own ppl..well not since 1954 anyway. If we give away our freedom to respond to unrighteous acts when we see them, it wont be long till these types of pandemics are used against us to deny us our freedoms...
