Beach boy must watch the pelicans at feeding time ,as almost every winter the same topic re appears .Such regurgitation it seems brings little food for thought, and those who enjoy waving the confederate flag on minor occasions keep doing so ..

Nascar banning it from all events, adds a lot to the discussion IMO,

I dont agree with slavery naturally.
Slavery started in afrika, slavery was already an old established business when white men were still living in caves and scratching pictures on the walls. The western re white European community were the last to join the slave trade and the first to ban it. What happened in between was a travesty but no more different to any slave trading society..which was all of them...what gets me is that folks dont remember that the person catching the slaves and selling the slaves to white ppl was a black man. But of course white men are the source of all the worlds problems it seems and all other forms of slavery are forgotten if the traders and owners weren't white. Its a shame because the truth and real history are covered over and ppl stay angry over a wrong belief. The flag means nothing. First known slavery dates back to 6800 BC. Today 7 out of every 1000 africans are slaves (wikipedia)

Today 7 out of every 1000 africans are slaves (wikipedia) Was just saying this the other day. Before the English came on the scene, they sold to the Arabian countries, who on sold to lower Europe. The Romans were great at having slaves, the Goths and Gauls weren't bad either. Asia and East Asia were commonly using slaves. Don't forget the Pacific Islands. Some used it as a early form of "takeaways" No era of the world back then, from BC - AD was without slavery.
