A conversation with an ex Sprintcar driver today confirms that Cromwell will have 22 registered sprintcars this season.Great news for the club down there given the current economics at the time being.Do not know what exact numbers are like for Ruapuna - Nelson perhaps some one else in the know could verify.

Christchurch and South island Sprintcars will have an addition to the class with a well known Ruapuna racing team and their supporters putting a Sprintcar into their stable.The car has not been seen for the last couple of seasons but has the goods and so does the new pilot.
