So with the level down to 2 ,the harbour bridge bent and buckled ,and a shortage of water ,how are the chances on seeing the speedway season opening on time .if at all ..
Life in jaffa town must be of concern ,small businesses falling over like smoked bees on a hive ,oh and a temporary grandstand to be built for small gatherings ,one does feel a little travel will be in order to see some great speedway excitement un leash ..

I hear there were some very cheap flights around the country so there may be some extensive travel in speedway circles while they exist.

I hear there were some very cheap flights around the country so there may be some extensive travel in speedway circles while they exist. I've just booked flights to Dunedin for the NZ Streetstock champs of all things. A combination of an air nz credit from a canned trip to Brisbane, reasonably priced flights, A midweek (Wed & Thur) meeting, meaning I'm back in New Zealand 😜for the weekend, and a love of south Island banger racing all make the perfect combination for a couple of days away... As long as Dear Leader (if she doesn't get the arse next month) permits. |

Lets hope you get a sun tan at the Street stocks in stead of Brisbane and return with a refreshed more focused mind set to go with it
Certainly the flight packages are attractive ,so it just maybe the way to go but with the main airports more than a stone throw away for some of us poorer people we may just have revert back to the good old scooter .

This is actually true, for some strange reason she is a Twitter friend of Ramjam's, and she came along to Te Marua one night a few years ago, watched some racing, joined us for some drinks in the clubrooms and handed out some trophies. She's a very down to earth lady, no BS "Feelz" there.  |

As the uncertainty grows due to Covid -19 and level 2 stays for the greater part of the larger super city known to some of us as jaffa town :)will we see the like s of Percy and the Magilla team of experts travel more to the central hub in the North Island for there speedway fix
Lets hope it doesnt, and we can all muster together as normal at the Springs ,but the smell of methanol is fast approaching ,and the seating is a little more comfortable to stretch your legs ...
I see Jamie Mcdonald is almost set and ready for opening night along with a few others ...
