To my delight and Midways surprise Post Haste found my residence, the tent with Amber and Black flag heralding it's presence. When I awoke from my afternoon nap sitting in the Taranaki Ale Crate were my two copies of NZ Superstock History. I will hitch a ride xmas day to the Naki and exchange the books for xmas meals at the in laws. Wonderful books, well presented and researched. Thumbs up Tim.

Thanks to Tim I am giving away a copy at the NZ Stockcar Champs in 2 weeks time at Meeanee through my TXT Phone Hotline Comps. Superstock #1nz Randy T has signed it and it will also include the top 30 qualifiers for the Stockcar title. Why have Stockcar drivers sign a Superstock book?? Because basically the first 30 or so years its a shared history.

I don't mean to be critical and I might be talking out of place here but I would hate to not say anything for wanting to be polite and then find others agree. If they don't and I get shot down for this opinion then I'll be the first to admit I was wrong. Anyway here goes... Pls don't get the Stockcar Qualifiers to sign what could be a collectors piece in the years to come. The Randell Tarrent signature I can understand and like. I've heard some ppl are going to track down as many former 1nzs in the book as possible to sign their copies. While Superstocks were called Stockcars for a long time they are most definitely two separate classes. I know it's your BBQ and I'm sure it will taste good but remember sometimes less is more. Be interested to hear others opinions. Pls don't take it as criticism but advice you can either take or not.

Maybe I should get the HB winners to sign it such as Joe Faram and Jason Long. Could I sneak Bryce and Shane Penn onto it as they have lived in the Bay since Shane was in nappies lol. Cheers for the feedback Ramma

Hey meeaneemic I don't wanna get off topic but after thinking about it I hope you follow thru with the idea of the qualifiers signing something that can be given away to a winner at the track like a meeting program... Or even cooler the chequer flag used at the meeting

I just want to say thank you to Tim, for a fantastic book, full of so many amazing photos, and information on the history of the NZ stockcar scene. I bought this book for my son, who is turning 35 this year, and who is involved in the sport with his three children. He will love looking through it, and sharing it with future generations.
