close to a 100 entries with a couple of weeks to entry close, as meeannee have limited pit space will there be a cap on numbers  |

nope no cap on numbers and we are looking to open up each side of the pits for more pit space. How many cars do people think will come??

Thought entered was 199 or something. Coming down to 185? Not sure as I wasnt there and well information for that meeting was very difficult to come by. |

Record is 173 through scrutineering at Stratford in 2008.
Many other years have come achingly close.

The way Billy Hickey was talking on saturday night at Woodford Glen he was saying 250 Cars for NZ Stockcar Champs and yet the GP could only rangle up 80 cars and only one from Greymouth

180 is probably the max amount of Cars you would want anyway as that makes 6 groups of 30 = 18 qualifying races and then run one other class to bring the track surface back if needed.
21 races on night one is more than enough in my opinion allowing for stoppages etc.
Starting to get excited about this one that's for sure..
