If racing is again cancelled tomorrow night, which by the weather forecast tonight is a distinct possibility, I would suggest the withdrawal list will grow exponentially. It's an absolute bummer for the Rotorua promotion, but the one thing you can't organise is the weather. People moaned about the cold wind at Oceanview last season, but at least we ran the meeting on the scheduled dates, which is just as well because it rained on our rain date! I just hope Sonya has a good supply of antacids to stave off stomach ulcers!

2010 meeting followed the same path, two rain outs then finally on day three there was racing... hopefully tomorrow is all go! I think it was longer than racing on the third day Gregobro, we came over from GB for the event, wasn’t it rained out after qualifying then rescheduled about 5 weeks later with qualifying taking place again I know we were long gone back home by then |

Tues and Weds would have to be the latest I would think, with the GP Fri and Sat. Which brings a couple of questions. 1. Does SNZ get involved at some stage? Is rolling the event over day to day approved by SNZ after the scheduled rain days? 2. Can Huntly be asked to re-schedule the GP as NZ's being the higher billing? 3. What are Pits media's plans are they are meant to be back in the South for the the streetstock champs. Just a few random thoughts when sulking due to rain. I am sure they have a plan which will be dependant on the weather and track conditions, but I would be keen to know how long the rollover plan will continue. |

And looking forward at the huntly weather forecast, they have their own issues coming up this weekend by the looks of it. So we should just hang out and Nzs when possible this week as could be only racing done this week around that area.

Wednesday might be ok for us in Dunedin jase for qualifying Thursday not so great but clearing Friday 👍👍👍 Dunedin: streaming Volt Media or another provider could produce both nights (on short notice) with big international followings of nz racing due to involvement with western springs and baypark. Hopefully the weather sorts itself out Sonja and team it's a shame seeing all your amazing work be washed away. The information you and your team provide prior to events (months, weeks, days) and during issues at events is surely the best in the country. SNZ need to recognise what your promotion actually does for the sport. Keep up the good work |
