The Glen Eagles Team is 33c Tyler Walker 41c Malcolm Read 557c Daryl Wallace 971c Jayden Ward 991c Harley Robb and 6th Driver 85c Tom Cooper no 25c Lloyd Jennings and Team Manager Malcolm Ngatai I did hear that Lloyd was unavalable due to him/someone having a bun in the oven. That may be true, but having a good swing at Ngatai a few meetings ago says a different story...

Does anybody know why Bengston,Long & Stanaway are all not racing in Palmy? Long is in the Form of his Life having been the most consistent driver in the country for the last 2/3 seasons in Teams & individual racing. Panthers losing Bengston will be massive too, so much experience and always puts everything on the line. Peter Bengston ran out of time to prepare last seasons car for Palmy Teams (he will not be teams racing the new car), between the recent big meetings, getting the new car sorted and of course running a very busy contracting business, something had to give. It will be hard sitting watching the Panthers this year without PB in the team. On the plus side, I will get to watch all the teams races and a very potent Panthers side to boot.

After being away from NZ living overseas for the past 16 years, I am now back living in NZ and very much looking forward to both the Superstock Teams and the Stockcar teams in February. Just one question though....what has happened to the Nelson Tigers?? I always enjoy watching them and their fans really got into the spirit. Sad they won't be there this year.

They have about 4 or 5 cars that race superstocks out of nelson. Injuries but most of all retirements hit them hard. All at once over the course of 3 or 4 years. Even there young guys stepped away. Its quite sad. But its not forever. The worrying sign is there stockcar team has two disappeared as well.

The best of the best retired then they were hit with injuries some long term ,has left the club in a rebuilding phase

A bit like The Wildcats who went missing for a while due to low Superstock numbers.
