So just kings and wanderers to come After big debate, it’s finally named 1NZ Asher Rees 3NZ Mitch Vickery 58K Stefan Roigard 85K Jared Wade 471K Benji Sneddon 6th Driver Matt Nielsen Manager, Dave Roigard Dont hold your breathe for The Wanderers wow thats a huge call leaving matt neilson out, he would be near the top of my list, i would certainly have him there over jared wade (who i personally believe is far from the jared wade of old), and even before benji sneddon. looks more like a "who you know" team. and as for no gavin taniwha, well surely this is gavins call not wanting to teams race cause you would have to have rocks in your head to leave him out.

Yeah I am pretty shocked Nielsen is not in that team.. both Rees and Sneddon have concerning back injuries, so it's highly possible we will see Nielsen in one of there cars before the weekend is out. That team was recreated by Wade so I guess as long as he wants to be there, he will be there.

there are still plenty of great drivers out there - a NZ Select team to replace GB though we have a perfect 12 team roster right now

Then neilson a handful of laps later. 2 vs 4 and still be within 10metres of the lead busters car. Wasnt much in it. That takes some driving. Dont get how people think hes past it. Peter rees hasnt done much special in the last 3 or 4 years yet you will rate him highly.

And new zealand champions select team? Hemi Joblin Long Ngati Hardwood #bringbackhardwood Its not an official team so why put it on here Two have retired 🤦♂️🤦♂️ He was looking for a team to replace team g.b. to replace team g.b who is a very special team. Your gonna need a very special team to do so. Hence ive creates a fan fantasy team to replace team g.b with. Now i know everybody ive listed doesnt race. But everybody i listed does have access to there cars. Im in no way shape of form thinking this team will show. But its a answer to panthersfanforever. And thats the best i could come up with while taking a look at drivers who are missing. Thats why i said it. Grammar and punctuation may have not been correct. But when in my posts has it ever been?

All thirteen teams locked and loaded more than a week ahead of the event; surely that's some sort of record!

I know this may start a debate, and is contenscious. I thought the Palmy promotion had decided that teams needed to have contracted drivers that raced for the track. And yet now we have a team that has 3 Palmy, and one other outside driver. Not knocking the team or the drivers that put their hand up to race, i think every driver deserves a medal for racing at this event. But having 13 teams changes the dynamics of the meeting totally, on the Friday they are all racing for points, and need to race and block not hit, you can see that by the change and intensity on night 2 when they just need to win. 12 teams was the ideal number as you just needed to win 1 or 2 races by all means necessary. And often you don't know who qualifies until night 2 or the posts after the first night, previously you left the track knowing the two teams that had their wins in each of the four groups.

Thats an snz rule, not palmy. Plus this is a promotion event so that rule doesnt apply
