And that is for the club to decide. Amount of teams vs gate price is their issue. They can only fit in so many paying fans. More than happy to do 25 and 30 if thats what Bruce wants. Possibly 9 teams attending should command a decent gate. I think my sarcasm was missed there sonic Quite possibly! I am normally good with sarcasm ( one of the services I can provide). Perhaps yours was way too subtle, or I am getting used to negative comments on here!

So sixx60 are playing freakin edan park the 24th of april. Saturday is gonna frenetic. Could this be the biggest concert ever played in new zealand? Roads and everything will be shocking the saturday. I think sunday will be huge if speedway fans join the dots. They call me the greatest.

At least it's at Eden Park and not Mt Smart. That'd really make it difficult getting to WP on the Saturday night. Who is "they"? Who calls you "the greatest"?

From Wiki.....Two concerts held at the stadium were the largest concerts ever in New Zealand at the time. On 26 November 1983, one of the final dates of David Bowie's Serious Moonlight Tour was attended by either 74,480 fans (according to bootleg recordings) or by 83,000 (according to the promoter years later).[8] On 14 March 1987, over 80,000 fans saw the concert by ZZ Top.

I dunno much about 6sixty but I'm looking forward to the support act Aunty Helen & The Nimby Blues Band. 🤣

They will never know how many were at any concert at Western Springs in the 80's. I like many others just waited till the fence came down or jumped it to at least 10 concerts. Bowie's glass spider was definitely the biggest though
