Whilst the format has some positives in that the 8th placed team is still in with a chance of winning, I would have thought the 1st and 2nd highest point scorers from the first night, (chances are they are the best 2 teams on paper), wouldn't potentially meet until the final. The format suggest they could meet in a semi-final making for a lop-sided final. You could change that by race 6 being 2nd vs 7th and moving the other 2 races up. Part of 1st and 2nd racing early and gives more time for repairs as a reward for quallying 1st and 2nd. I think once you get to semis it is brutal anyway, and there has been many a lopsided final due to semi final damage. The main thing I like about the format (maybe I am not quite right in assuming) is the entire 2nd night is 1st across the line. Agreed Graeme. Needs shuffling so 1 and 2 don't meet until the final, if at all, but definitely not in the Semi.

3 minute bells need to be limited to a maximum amount per team cars per team meeting. This might stop the ridiculous suspension adjustments holding up the show.

What would have been if Hayden Hart hadnt been forced to pull off because of race control sitting them on the grid idling for so long?

Does anyone else think jayden ward drove the wrong way down the track near the finish line? I was thinking the same thing, doubt anything will come from it though SNZ have really not been on the ball tonight.

Does anyone else think jayden ward drove the wrong way down the track near the finish line? Technically probably yes, similar to the Benji Sneddon incident at Huntly last year, but as I thought then he started the movement going in the right direction and contact was maintained through-out so personally doesn't bother me but who knows what the officials will decide. Big difference if a driver was uninvolved with any car and attacked a car by going the wrong way which is what the rule is really all about.

Racing started at 6.45. Flag drop for the first race should have been 6.00 sharp. Lets hope they can start on time tomorrow.
