The meeting on Saturday 27th March was supposed to be Oceanview's final meeting of the season, but with the NI Superstocks rescheduled to 9th and 10th April, that's not now the case. However it's still going to be a massive night of action including: - West Coast Superstocks 2020-21
- Noel Kensington, George Podjursky and Craig Heibner Superstock Memorial races
- Trev's Concrete Stockcar Shootout
- Karl Barritt Memorial Sidecars
- Heiby Memorial Youth Ministocks
Because of the size of this meeting and the expected number of competitors, racing will start at 5pm. It's also Fireworks Night, so we'll be expecting a big crowd. Racers wanting to enter can do so online at this link, and competitor lists will be published in the run-up to the meeting.

Probably plenty of Superstocks to go round but bikes hmmm be interesting There are always going to be date clashes Stu, but the West Coast Supers has been on our programme for March 27th ever since it was released, before Palmerston North's! The Karl Barritt Memorial was supposed to have been run earlier in the season, but it's been hard to find dates for Sidecars this season, especially since Christmas. But it's also a sign of the growth in competitor numbers at Wanganui in recent seasons that we can go head to head with Palmerston North, and still put on a good show!

Here's the Superstock field to date for Saturday night; looks like being a good old Stratford vs Wanganui battle:
~SUPERSTOCKS~ 4V Hayden Green 5M Elias Dykstra 19S Daryl Roper 21V Blair Reeves-Smith 23V Scott Duncan 28V Ricky Dykstra 33S Logan Sharpe 38V Zane Dykstra 37S Shane Denham 41S Scott Williams 41V Bruce Williams 53S Blair Johnson 53V Shaun Smith 54S Paul Johnson 56P Kerry Podjursky 57V Dylan Marshall 65V Aaron Jurgens 75S Carl Shearer 77V Cameron Jurgens 81V Max Holloway 82S Hamish Booker 84S Haydin Barker 87V Shane Kells 99S Blayke Adamson 99V Richard Watkins 136V Kaelin Mooney 166B Hayden Hart
56P Kerry Podjursky has also chosen Wanganui over Palmerston North, and will be really motivated to win the Memorial race for his late father George. He's won both the Noel Kensington and Craig Heibner Memorials, but somehow, the George Podjursky has always eluded him.
There should be a good field of Stockcars for the Trev's Concrete Shootout as well, which has a new format this year. 16 cars will qualify, and to win the Shootout cash, the winner will have to win four rounds. It's always a fun event that the drivers look forward to.
