And I have no idea what classes Bill intends to run at Baypark next year. I am simply a punter who attends meetings at both tracks. What I do know is Michael Pickens has stated on FB he is running the midget and sprintcar at WS Saturday night.

Skinny ((Graeme) Colson is New Zealand speedway, sadly, through my eyes, mostly for what it was - building his own hugely successful saloons, racing, entertaining and winning.

Any updates would be appreciated. With no entry list for Sprinters (or stockcars), BOP stocks on a non stockcar track. and six shooters and mini stocks as support classes I have decided to give my money to the live stream guys tonight.
Hope Skinny goes well, and that club actually does something to acknowledge one of the best competitors, and genuine nice guys of the sport. A few slow laps with peers in the middle at the start ( plus crew and fellow racers), or leading out the feature for a few laps before taking his grid spot (if not on pole)
Thanx for the memories Skinny. Will always remember the rear end of the corvette super scraping dirt off the concrete wall!

where is Steeldog? If he not there then must be no one there! Yes I was there, just not on here. Yes the honoured skinny well with an on track interview before the feature and he climbed the fence and waved the flag. they also had a number of interviews with other competitors about skinny from the pits throughout the night. Smallish feilds in all 4 classes. stockcars did their best to entertain and good contact was seen. 6 shoots was really only ever between Wood, mcClymont and Westbury. with McClymont taking the feature. Sprintcars: 11 were there. Really it was only between Taylor and allard with wood the clear 3rd. Taylor was on fire. literally. each race after a couple of laps something caught fire on his engine and burn for about 3 more laps. Didn't slow him down at all. I just called it an afterburner because it seemed to have that effect. Even Allard couldn't catch him in the feature. But Taylor collided with a stalled car on turn 4 to put an end to his night. Allard cleared off from there Wood second and the third step of the podium for the BOP champs was.... ... Skinny he was very happy A good night for that alone

I should say the 6 shooters feature was fastest from the rear. 20 laps McClymont went from back 3 to lead in 1 1/4 laps. Wood and Westbury got stuck behind was were still at the rear. took them 8 laps to get clear of the pack McClymont was only about 1/3 of a lap ahead and the gap remained consistent for the rest of the race.
Also Rodney was in his back up sprintcar with salvaged parts car after his big wreck at the NZ Champs.
