So the Auckland car gets a whack and gets knocked out and spins round and drives across the track fill nisie straight into the wall. And right in front of the snz official. Unfortunately, he saw no value in bending down or making any effort to see if the driver ws ok. It toll people from the crowd to run down laps later, and finally reds came on and he got the assistance he urgently need. Disgraceful in this day and age. The official was at the time standing right in front of the bonnet of the car.

Also the straight lining of an Auckland car over the grass by 5G. red light, Auckland car out due to damage, 5G carries on. Not a peep from the officials.

The rule to allow straight hits has been left in for teams racing from what I understand. I'm not a driver or official but heard this from another driver. I also didn't see in the replays any grass it was straight from the track. The only thing we questioned was the straight hits at the end of the straight. But still legal in teams. So if the official saw what we saw, ie No cars on grass, it's a perfectly legal hit.

The infield crew seemed pretty good all night with the spotlight to get a thumbs up, but not sure what the process was when the car was facing away from the infield ie like the 73a incident. Hope Bryce is all OK.

Are you saying the the SNZ Official should have stopped the race when the driver gave him a thumbs up?
