71k Mellsop Motorsport Wow what a year we have all had in 2021! Been very challenging and tough times all round. We hope everyone has stayed safe and well and 🤞we can get back to normal soon and get back into the sport we all enjoy. The car has been checked over and some small changes and improvements have been made to hopefully get a little bit more out of it. Shane has been spending time in the shed fine tuning. We would like to thank our sponsors for season 2021/22 Terry Mellsop Building Services Abbott Log Haulage Red Steel Trademark Developments Taradale Panel n Paint Kustom Design n Print K. R. Tong Engineering Metalworks Asmuss Steel Hartley race engines Clark performance Grunta Fabrication GT oil, Palmerston North Lastly Means Motorsport, Euan has been a great addition to Mellsop Motorsport. Awesome to have someone so commited to Superstock racing and with this he has been the driving force for Mellsop Motorsport changing tracks to represent Kihikihi. With this Shane has made himself avaliable for selection for the Kihikihi Kings. Shane enjoyed his time with the team at the Teams Nationals last season and looks forward to being involved with a great team. It’s going to be tough with a very talented squad. We want to thank Palmerston North speedway for the past 9 seasons. Bruce and Puk have been very supportive of us and we thank them for supporting us with our track change. Shane would also like to thank: Mum and Dad Sam and Ava Caleb and Zayne Hayley, Mike and Madi Garry Foley Justin and Alisha Robert and Liv Sim family Thanks for your help and support over the off season. We look forward to seeing you all at the track.

The Rees car looks mean, can't wait to hear the sound of the new car. Can't understand how those cars are under the decibel range?

If the car is loud and proud and over the decibel limit ,then one may think something has to be done to the muffler and exhaust system to quieten it down I guess the marine biologists have found out where the noise comes from both ends Beach Boy with out stripping you down but have found it difficult to measure the volumes you create
