A (welcome) surprise to see Woodford Glen have published their full 2021/22 calendar already, including the return of the "Hoopla" brand for the first time in a while: www.woodfordglen.co.nz/race-dates

Only 14 meetings planned for the Glen next season.Seems to be getting shorter every year.Seems a waste having so few meetings over Summer.Should swap some grades with Ruapuna when cars are away at Championship meetings.Would help out both tracks.

Don,t think the need 3 nites for nz stockcar champs, with about 210 cars that 7 groups of 30, if they can,t run 21 races in a nite that,s pretty slack. .

I disagree with that. Quality over quantity as a fan. How many does rotorua run? I feel like its the prefect amount. And two of those are mip.

Meeanee this year had over 240 entries from memory, and I think 224 actually raced on night 1, so 7 groups was not enough. There are also other reasons such as pit space (a lack of at many tracks) to hold that many cars adequately, and officials starting work at 8am one morning and still at it at 1am the next morning, then starting all over again later the same morning for Night 2. Trouble with 3 Day meetings it gets messy if the weather is bad, example Rotorua this year turned into a 6 day meeting lol.

Also cool the Superstock gp and the North Island super saloon champs on at Waikaraka to add to the already great meetings up the top of the North Island, going to be great season.

How many stand downs will there be? Very few cars attend north island championships,so they need to look at not standing down that class. 1 night in particular there were productions and both classes of ministocks.. ๐

Keen on the New Zealand Modified Champs - Huntly - 11/12th March 2022 Huntly always puts on a great meeting. I'm excited for that too. They are getting the title just as active local numbers have boomed to their highest point in the clubs history (13), so couldn't be timed better from that respect. The March date also works well in terms of when there are generally the most active/mobile Modifieds across NZ.

Keen on the New Zealand Modified Champs - Huntly - 11/12th March 2022 Huntly always puts on a great meeting. I've got a question, how come Huntly can run the NZ super stock and modified title in the same season when WFG weren't allowed to a couple of season back.
