even the embankment tickets are $73, its becoming like the all the other major sporting events and getting out of reach of the common/traditional fan to attend. But there's also the live stream that many will take advantage of, and then bemoan the lack of quality - its a vicious circle. When the place sells out. The only thing they can sell is live streams. I have one grip with the live stream. And its to do with the pits TV and video hub and overseas reach. Not what happens in new zealand. But thats for them to sort out. Like spark sport and sky television and the world cricket final. |

Main Grandstand has the following seats left in it as at 2.13pm Friday Block A= 82 seats left 8 single seats, 12 x double seats, 3 x triple seats, 6 x block of 4 seats, 2 x block of 5 seats and 1 x block of 8 Block B= 20 seats left 9 of them single seats, 1 x double seats, and 3 triple seats together Block C= 87 seats left 17 of them single seats 10 double seats, 10 Triple seats and 5 block of 4 seats together And those numbers are rapidly dwindling. Given the final burst of people getting online after work tonight I reckon the Grandstand will be sold out within 24 hours of going on sale. Maybe just a random one or 2 single seats. |

You make it sound like its the council in Palmy that won't allow gold card prices  Pretty sure BP is council-owned and they do Senior's pricing. Almost every year at this event the punters get tested to see if they will keep paying the increased price, it's just greed. Normal club night prices haven't been going up every year at the same venue. So it seems after all your comments to date that you have paid the price and got the tickets sent out by post or courier Iam sure it is the seaweed you smoke ,cause it cant be greed can it .. |
