I'm not saying I know but after last year be hard to see anything than the 8 group format. Its the drivers title and they should chose. I'm a believer of this.
As much as I hate the format. Its there championship not mine.

Just curious and would appreciate your constructive reply. From where I sit I have found that this would have to be the fairest way to find the driver that deserves the title when the event is run over two nights. Every driver races every other driver.Drivers can drive at their own pace without having to take extreme risks.no one knows the full starting lineup until the last heat.

The thing I don't like about the format is mainly the length of the final race. Track is so worn by the final that it only suits a few that and doesn't make for the best Supersaloon racing in my eyes. Seems to me then tends to be only a choice of two formats and no willingness to try other possibilities. I would like to see four heats for points tried, but I think we could have six 12 lap races for points as a way to find a champion.

What I want to see is upsets, full fields and action. Something this format doesn't quite live up to until the big dance. Its alot to sit through to get to it. Abit more than I am willing as nothing more than a casual fan of the class. If drivers love it. Contune to use it. Nee zealand Champs should be about as many drivers racing and having a smile on there face as possible. Thats what the new zealand Champs is all about. Stop trying to make everybody happy. You can't. Make the drivers happy. Like I said its there night. Its not me you need to win over. Its them.
