Is there anyone in the know regarding Huntly offering reserved seating for this event? I understand there will be reserved seating available. Can't tell you more than that though unfortunately. I'll try and check it out for you tomorrow night. Barry B

Hi go29. Yes, there will be reserved seating put in for the 2022 NZ Superstock Champs at Huntly. There won't be a huge amount, but there will be some. This will actually be seating that will remain in place permanently after the event for the benefit of everyone in future. I don't have a release date for sales at this stage, but keep one eye on the WSSCC website and FB page. They have got a lot of things happening there specifically about their 4 major meetings thi summer. But if you want some, don't hesitate too long often the announcement.

Any idea if you will be able to get out of the carpark in under 2 hours at the end of the meeting?

I have never understood why they dont make the left lane for cars that are going straight ahead at the coal mine stop sign and the right lane for cars going to Auckland, there is no one surely dumb enough to try drive towards the track after 10pm

If they can fit down the Auckland Motorway when its gridlocked i'm quite sure they could fit up that road if they had to

I do it constantly. You beat most people. Saves the hours waiting in line.

Yes it is simple and is talked about every year. To the best of my knowledge NZTA/council/Police or who ever makes the call will not allow it unfortunately

Any idea if you will be able to get out of the carpark in under 2 hours at the end of the meeting? There was talk a few years back about using both sides of the road out of the venue however that option can only go as far as the Horse trek club which is only a few hundred meters from the track heading back towards town before merging back into the left lane. Another option currently being investigated at this stage is a separate road that will start from the motorway side of the facility which will then take you thru the now defunct East Mine and then come back out at the McVie Rd/East Mine Rd intersection. Now of course this may sound like a bottle neck effect but it may just be enough to ease the flow of traffic to some extent.
