Have just deleted a post from someone who asked if the promoter would "man up" and give ticket holders a refund
I have little doubt an announcement regarding refunds will come in due course. Having a go at a promoter 30 minutes after a major traffic light announcement which potentially scuttles the biggest event of the season is not acceptable.

As you as well as everyone else can now see what are people to do regards accommadation, flights to list just 2.
Just cancel it full stop, Postponing it is not the answer.

The promoter will be just as devastated as the rest of us about going to red and I'm willing to wager he stands to lose a lot more money than any of us. |

Currently deciding what to do for the weekend or just take the loss as flights were only paid for with air points. Not much else to do at the moment. |

When's ardens wedding. Gut feeling is this weekend. So come Monday red we go. Could be wrong. But know it's this month. 100% it wont happen until after the wedding. Hoping wedding is Waitangi weekend. Her stocks will fall through the floor if she gets her wedding out of the way and then turns the light red. Hopefully she goes off shore for honeymoon and can't get a spot in MIQ! YEAH RITE, TUI ADD that one. 100% you said. Can't wait for your next prediction. |

However, on Sunday, when announcing New Zealand's first confirmed community spread of the infectious COVID-19 variant, she confirmed the nuptials were off.
"My wedding will not be going ahead ... such is life," she said.
"I am no different to - dare I say it - thousands of other New Zealanders who have had much more devastating impacts felt by the pandemic.
