Does anyone know if Sky sport are showing the Nascar this year, the Daytona 500 is on now but not on sky π’ At this point in time it would appear Sky has no rights to NASCAR. You will have to look at other options.

Sky lost F1, then they lost MotoGP, now (it appears) NASCAR as well. I guess going high to get the EPL rights back again has emptied the piggy bank. Their Motorsport channel will be looking pretty empty.

I would like to have both obviously. However I would go V8's over NASCAR. that is for 2 reasons. 1 NZ timing of events. I can watch V8s live as it fits into my time slot for my weekends. 2. I have to record NASCAR, and as I work out of town, it's likely I have to watch it a week later. By then I have heard the result, and have seen all the good bits on FB.
In saying that, I agree with Barry, that the cost to sky to get poofball back would have cost a packet. Channel 55 will be a chanel that just serves up replay after replay after replay of very little interest motorsport.

I and many had asked the question on their social media page and got the answer they has chosen no to renew it, looks like sky sports is fast becoming a joke and 55 will be full of Olympic replays

Their Motorsport channel will be looking pretty empty. Barry B yeah I take MotoGp direct from Dorna (the MotoGp rights holder) much much better coverage than sky ever achieved. Best thing is because its a streaming service I can watch when it suits me You can also watch all the practice sessions and after match wrap up, all previous GP's going back decades I don't understand why people would waste there money on sky I also happen to have FloRacing and I'm also thinking about getting dirt vision but gets to time consuming
